GROVER BEACH—Customers can earn a free gift card by dining in Grover Beach. Now through March 17th (or as gift card supplies last) when a diner cumulatively spends $100 or more at a Grover Beach restaurant, brewery, or winery, the customer will be eligible to receive a free $25 gift card to another local restaurant, winery, or brewery. You can combine multiple receipts to reach the $100 minimum.
After successful Buy Local gift card programs in 2021 and 2022, the City of Grover Beach relaunched the popular campaign last month to further boost the economy and show support for local businesses in their city. In partnership with the South County Chambers of Commerce, the Grover Beach City Council launched the Buy Local program originally as part of the City’s ongoing efforts to stimulate the economy, retain local jobs, and help businesses thrive.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the popular Buy Local gift card program returned to Grover Beach to show the love to local restaurants and provide diners with extra incentive to support them. This gift card program launched February 12th, and the Chamber has already
processed over $4,400 in receipts for  dining/brewery/winery purchases.
“Both the City of Grover Beach and the Chamber are happy to bring this program back in a more targeted fashion—focusing this time on the dining industry,” said South County Chambers of Commerce CEO Kathy McCorry.
