This week I was blessed to interview a woman that showered me with kindness and extended a warm smile from the moment I met her. As I walked into the room of a South County Chamber of Commerce mixer nearly a year ago, ANITA SHOWER, a renowned public figure here on our unique Central Coast, immediately recognized that I was, as she so eloquently put it “…the new kid in town: our newest transfer student!” 😊

When we think of some of our favorite recipes, they all seem to have a couple of things in common: They have KEY INGREDIENTS that are ESSENTIAL to the outcome of the recipe and are passed on from generation to generation. With my Italian roots, one of the cultural dishes I have always appreciated was a big plate of spaghetti topped with a tasty Italian style sauce, a sauce that could make my tastebuds feel like I died and went to heaven. 😊

Do you recall the movie “The Little Mermaid “? It was a sweet, animated story that exposed the concept of a whole unique world that exists UNDER THE SEA! Though I don’t know of any little mermaids swimming about in our ocean waters, we do have the privilege of SEEING the unique world that lives UNDER THE SEA.
